Giving to support the financial needs of our church is one way to express our faith in God and our gratitude for how He provides our needs. In fact, giving is an act of worship.
Although we often say we are giving to our church, the reality is that whatever we give is the biblical act of giving a portion of what God has allowed us to accumulate back to Him.
The Bible has a great deal to say about finances, including tithes and offerings to the local church. The following Scripture references may be helpful as you and your family decide how God is leading you to worship Him through giving.
2 Corinthians 9:7
I Chronicles 29:14
For your convenience, we offer online giving at our website http://www.fbchartselle.org . Go to “Give Online” and follow the directions to set up an account.
